Dr. Aliya Chapman

I own Pathways Psychology LLC, where I provide therapy, assessment, and consultation for a variety of human needs. If you feel stuck or distressed and are looking for someone to help, please know that you are not alone. All of us struggle from time to time, and we need support to figure out what to do next. You and I can work together to learn more about you, understand your current struggles, and come up with an action plan that fits your values and uses your strengths to help you move forward. Certified by Postpartum Support International as a Perinatal Mental Health practitioner, I can treat perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. I use a whole-family approach to perinatal mental health. I also specialize in treating anxiety and mood disorders that are not triggered by birth or adoption. My other specialties include college stressors; academic concerns; parenting challenges; and immigrant and minority stress. I customize therapy to your needs, using primarily Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, psychodynamic work, and elements of coherence therapy. I welcome you regardless of your race, ethnicity, age, gender, sexual/affectional preference, education level, and religious background.
