About

Depressed, anxious, lost, overwhelmed? I can help! I specialize in treating perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and women who have pre-existing mental health conditions that are thinking about or trying to get pregnant. When you come to therapy, you get to drop the pretensions. You get to share and explore all the tough feelings that you don't always feel comfortable telling the people you love. You won't be judged, you won't be pushed to do something you're not ready to do. You'll be listened to and understood, accepted, and supported on your path to feeling better. I most often use cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy in my work. Both honor the interconnectedness of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and have concrete skills and tools to use in everyday life. I also love test-driving and recommending great mental health apps and YouTube channels. I want to make it as easy as possible to get support. I like to meet clients in person for the first visit but after that video visits (similar to FaceTime) are possible to flex around nap times, avoid needing childcare, travel time, etc. Many people prefer to set aside “me time” to come into the office and be able to focus just on wellness, and that’s fine too! Whether it’s my cozy couch or your cozy couch, I’m here.
